American Idol Eye Candy: Kelly Clarkson vs. Carrie Underwood

Before a new American Idol gets crowned in two weeks, we have a pressing question:

Who is your favorite American Idol winner of all-time?

We’ll assume that Fantasia, Ruben Studdard and Taylor Hicks aren’t even in the running. And, remember, Chris Daughtry and Clay Aiken didn’t actually win their respective seasons.

So this leaves two options for fans of the FOX reality show: original Idol victor, Kelly Clarkson? Or season four’s champion, Carrie Underwood?

Each has picked up Grammy Awards, although only Underwood has picked up an All-Pro NFL quarterback. It’s a close call.

Perhaps fans will want to wait for the new Kelly Clarkson album to come out in July before making a decision. But if you have a preference right now, let us know.

And, yes, we wish Katharine McPhee had won last year, too. Go blame The Soul Patrol for that one.

Carrie Underwood is my favorite! Both Kelly and Carrie are very talented and are always growing as performers, so I think both will be around for a long time!

My favorite is Carrie. She’s just so talented in many ways. One of the sweetest people you will ever me. She doesnt let the fame get to her head and she appreciates every little thing. She can sing her heart out. Carrie is just such a rolemodel.

Well, I love both of them, however, I would have to choose Carrie - she has done amazing in the past few years. I still can’t get over her album is still in the top spot after 77 wks - wow!!!!

CARRIE! obviously… shes the only Idol winner to acctually KEEP her Idol roots, and KNOWS that if not for it, she wouldnt be here. she’s also AMAZINGLY sweet, too =]

Carrie is my favorite American Idol then it’s Kelly Clarkson. So I say both of them but Carrie first then Kelly second.

I personally love Carrie Underwood. She has this amazing sweet voice that you won’t get tired listening to. Plus, to match her unique voice, she has this amazing personality. She sets as a good role model to everyone, not only to young people. She has a wide variety of fans- from kids to adults, they all love her! She is just a pure wonderful person i look up to

Carrie Underwood is definitely better by far. She is prettier, she sings better, and she has a better personality. She is also a great role model and Christian. She has swept up more awards then ANY other AI winner…and her album sales are flying. Carrie will obviously last longer.

CARRIE MARIE UNDERWOOD !!! She is definitely the best ever! There will never be another American Idol as good as her. I am a huge fan and a member of her fan club. i have met her and seen her in concert 3 times going on 4. She is a sweet person and a very good role model. She has an amazing voice and is a very good person and that is why I love her!!

I think Carrie is the best. I love Kelly she has an amazing voice but Carrie is so different. she has an amazing voice an amazing songs and overall i think is a much better Idol as she remembers where she came from and her roots.Carrie always thanks American Idol when she wins awards and i think that is important. However i think both Carrie and Kelly are both great talents and i have great respect for both. but Carrie is my girl!
